Octanol itself is also used as a spice, mixing roses, lilies and other floral

GB2760-86 in China. It is mainly used to prepare coconut, pineapple, peach,
chocolate and phase orange essence, used as surfactant, solvent, defoaming
agent, industrial additives, etc.
