From coconut oil, palm kernel oil mixed
fatty acid or mixed fatty acid methylase, vacuum fractionation can get
tetradecacid. Laboratory preparation can be saponified by glycerol di
(tetradecac) vinegar and 10% sodium hydroxide solution, and then acidified with
hydrochloride to obtain free tetradectic acid. It can also be taken by diteol.
